If this is the first time you've opened the Mail app, you’ll see a Welcome page. Select Start , enter Mail, and choose the app from the results. You can add that email account and many other email accounts to the Mail and Calendar apps to start sending and receiving email and creating and managing events. If you have Windows 10 or a later version and you sign in with a Microsoft account that has an, Live, Hotmail, or MSN address, that account is added to the Mail and Calendar apps. The following link will take you to instructions on Microsoft's website for setting up email in the Mail app. I can connect using Windows local account using KRDC at Kubuntu Note.Please follow these instructions to set up the Mail app if you will be using the Outlook Mail page set. I already disabled UAC at Windows 10 and allowed remote connections. I could change and use the local Windows account but I have some vpn software tied to this hotmail account and it is going to cost me some time and emails to reconfigure it so I prefer to try to connect to the already configured one. The problem seens to be to use a Hotmail account. I can connect perfectly if I use a local Windows account. I want to connect from my Kubuntu notebook to my Windows 10 desktop using remote desktop. The desktop uses a cable and the desktop uses wifi. Both are connected to my humble network at home. I also have a notebook running Kubuntu 22.04LTS. It is like This hotmail account has its password but at my desktop I use another password, yes, remote account, remote password and local password to this same remote account. I sit phisically and connect to it using a MS account associated to my Hotmail account.
